I joined the Laboratory of Circadian Physiology as an intern. I am currently finishing my BSc in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of the Basque Country (EHU). As part of my academic path, I spent the last academic year on an Erasmus exchange at the Jan and Jędrzej Śniadecki University of Technology and Life Sciences in Bydgoszcz, Poland.
This internship is a great opportunity for me to explore the research environment for the first time, strengthen my lab skills, and understand how a research group operates. In the lab, I am learning basic molecular and cellular biology techniques while getting familiar with the field of circadian physiology - a topic I find increasingly fascinating due to its complexity and implications in many physiological systems.
Beyond science, I really enjoy traveling and doing any kind of team sport. In fact, I’m part of a handball team and I love the collaboration, discipline, and energy that come with it.
