My name is Izaro Maestre and I have joined the Astiz Lab in 2026 as a new Superior Technician student in training for my “Pathological Anatomy and Cytodiagnosis” degree witch I am studying at Jesuitak Politeknikoa (Bilbao, Spain). 

Throughout my academic training I have completed both medium and superior Vocational Education and Training studies in the healthcare field, including “Health Emergencies” at Fadura LHII (Getxo, Bilbao) and “Radiotherapy and Dosimetry” at Tartanga LHII (Erandio, Bilbao). Each of these programs has contributed to shaping my professional path and has brought me closer to where I am today. 

Outside the lab, I enjoy spending time in nature, discovering new places and sharing moments with my loved ones.
